Duties of the Quality Assurance Committees (CGQ)

The CGQ for official UIB degrees have the following duties:

  1. Oversee degree and teaching quality.
  2. Verify the SGIQ quality assurance system is implemented.
  3. Roll out the institutional quality policy for degrees, verifying compliance there with and reporting to the centre board or the Centre for Postgraduate Studies.
  4. Monitor process efficiency, analyse results and information on target group satisfaction, graduate employment and learning progress and results assessment, monitor external placements, mobility programmes and other information, and make proposals aimed at continuous improvement on degree programmes.
  5. Review, analyse and propose improvement activities linked to teaching and lecturer quality.
  6. Produce the annual monitoring, assessment and improvement report for the degree and present it to the centre board or the Centre for Postgraduate Studies.
  7. Any other responsibility assigned to it by the centre board or the Centre for Postgraduate Studies.
